About Us

Caro (left) & Marie (right), the DIYnamite girls!
We’re single, young, professional women (without kids, yet!). We’re a rarity in the crafty blogosphere that’s dominated by stay-at-home moms. We love stay-at-home-moms too but we hope we inspire some of the other creative types to make time to nuture the inner artist.
We welcome any questions about our tutorials and would love to help you. Our tutorials are not the best or right way to do things, they’re the way that we make it work. We love to craft across a variety of mediums and we’re almost exclusively self-taught (with a little help from our moms). We like to see things then figure out how to make it ourselves. Therefore, we may not have the best technique but we’re not perfectionists.
We think that crafting should be a fun way to express yourself. Everybody can craft and everybody should craft! Don’t fret about your skills or the small details, just do it!
Also, we love personal swaps — either of completed crafts or of supplies. Let us know if you want something you see here!

Hi
I found you through a StumbleUpon linked site looking for home made photo frames with charm…
You have some great DIY projects and obviously a great deal more time than I so hopefully you don’t mind me taking a few ideas here and there.
I thought I should let you know that a page that describes yourselves as “single, young, professional women (without kids, yet!)” probly should not have “Please contact if you’d like to reproduce” as a footer message. Maybe that sounds rude or forward, sorry, I read it that way thanks for the laugh, anyways.
Keep up the great work!
Gund
