Show N’ Tell: Pineapple Quilt

My best friend just got married. She had a gorgeous rainbow theme for her wedding because she loves bright colors — so I knew I’d choose similiar colors. I also love Hawaii (and details!) so I chose the pineapple pattern. Each strip is a mere 1.25 inches wide! I had it machine longarm quilted for the pretty quilting design. Wow, that is amazing. My Mom finally gave me her old sewing machine a few months ago so I can stop taking over her sewing room when I visit them. I’ve already made more pillows than my poor apartment can handle and seeing these pictures makes me giddy with all the possibilities ahead. Not that she needed any more excuses to cry on her wedding day, but I bet this brought up a few tears. What an incredibly thoughtful and priceless gift. I think I’ll have to slowly work my way up to that level
